New initiative launches to promote Montgomery food and drink

The town’s local food and drink producers, retailers and hospitality providers have all joined together to introduce ‘Taste Montgomery’. ‘Taste Montgomery’ is a new venture initiated by Glasu’s Taste of Powys project with funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013, which is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Local Food Talks

Consumer demand for local and regional food and drink is strong, so making local produce a feature of your menus or retail sales makes excellent business sense. Now in it's third year, Local Food Talks draws together a group of organisations and businesses who are passionate about promoting food and drink from Mid Wales.
